Court Skills Training – Fingerprints

1st – 5th March 2021

 

Following the successful delivery of this training in 2019, Fostering Forensics (FF), in collaboration with International Fingerprint Services (IFS) will be running another 1-week Court Skills course to be delivered at our facility in Durham.

The course is aimed at existing fingerprint practitioners progressing to reporting officer status and is designed to develop knowledge and understanding of the fundamental skills of fingerprint evidence presentation.

The training will include:

  • Awareness of the criminal justice system
  • The expert witness – role and responsibilities
  • Preparation & presentation of fingerprint evidence
  • Effective use of Visual Aids
  • Competence assessment – Presentation of Fingerprint Evidence.
